When our Founder started her campaign at The Scottish Government, Beth went to them with a very serious problem, but she also had a very credible “solution” to that problem. She wanted the Scottish Government to implement a Positive Behaviour Support culture in schools and to help staff support children with complex additional needs with the aid of a Personal Communication Passport.
Here is Scotland’s Deputy First Minister and Education Secretary, Mr John Swinney, talking to members of The Scottish Parliament’s Public Petitions Committee about the communication passport developed by our trustee Kate Sanger and her daughter Jenny.
Kate and Jenny’s passport has been rolled out to every school in Scotland via the GLOW network.
